So they have finally started building something in Urmston, should be interesting when its done I guess, untill then the place is pretty much fucked. All in the name of improving the community etc.. still, its never gonna stop it being shit..

We don’t like change here in Urmston. We don’t like progress, anything differerent or improvements. We will not like the new Sainsburys although we don’t like Asda and we definately don’t like Somerfield. The new precinct will be awful. The old one was so pretty to look at with the boarded up pub in the middle and empty shops. Parking here is rubbish at the moment and we hate wardens who fine us for parking in illegal places. We hate people who don’t keep their houses up to scratch, but we don’t like burnt out, derelict buildings being knocked down and something new being built. We certainly don’t like the idea of empty old buildings being changed into something new like play areas for children. We don’t like children, or teenagers. They hang around in parks and are a nuisance. We don’t like day nurseries for neighbours they should be somewhere else. We don’t like new cafes opening, especially not ones that might be like the other one we’ve got. The roads here are rubbish - some have been repaired twice in a year, how awful is that! Oh and it smells here too.
